A Song for a Butterfly is my visual meditation on the fragility of nature and its harmony with music, as shown in IMG_0327.jpg. At the heart of the piece is a vibrant butterfly resting on a purple contrast, while a spiral line created from my menstrual blood winds above it like a silent melody born from the body. Its curves evoke movement and rhythm, culminating in a coil reminiscent of a fern leaf or a butterfly’s proboscis - symbolizing the connection between nature and inner music. Set against a calm, textured green background with a dynamic touch of a thin red line, this artwork is a gentle, visceral celebration of grace, lightness, and transformation.
